Freezes… often. – Even after taking steps to resolve the issue, this mouse keeps stopping in place. You can right click, left click, hit the scroll button, and all the other button functions work, but the laser itself does not consistently track. It wasn’t super expensive, but I’d say save your money.

Simple, comfortable design. Has all the major features a mouse should have. – I can use this mouse in place of my Logitech G502 Hero SE and not particularly notice a difference, so suffice to say this mouse is quite good for playing FPS games or general computer usage. DPI settings are pretty good, buttons feel fine, lights aren’t blinding. Only real flaw is that it has very slight movement when lifting the mouse to reposition, and I suppose some people might complain that you can’t reprogram the buttons(despite the item name)…but it’s a 5 button mouse, there’s no reason to rebind them.

Gaming Mouse – This is the Wired gaming mouse Model# M799D. I really like the way the mouse feels it has a rubberized smooth coating. Also i like the foot pads. As they are molded into the bottom cover of the mouse making it a good choice for longer mechanical life. Perfect for smooth transitions crossed multiple types of surfaces. The mouse is a wired mouse so no need to worry about battery life. The light transitions into multiple colors, making it perfect for those individuals that like to show off lighting effects. This mouse also features a multi select DPI button with settings of 1200/1800/2400/3600 DPI. Allowing individuals to change the speed of the pointer crossed the screen. The down side is, this mouse has a rather small diameter cord which means the conductors inside the cable are rather small. Which could lead to early failure of the cord. Only time will tell. I have been using the mouse now for more than a week and it works flawlessly. I use Linux OS and the mouse worked straight out of the box. The mouse also works with Windows products as well. Great backup gaming mouse – I got this as a backup gaming mouse for my son, who frequently forgets his mouse at his mother’s house. I will update this review after he’s put the mouse through its paces, but in my tests I was impressed. For such an inexpensive mouse, it felt and looked good. The mouse and all the button clicks and scrolls were very responsive. I personally don’t care for the LED lights, but they cycled through nicely. I’m happy with the value of this inexpensive gaming mouse. Now we’ll see what my son has to say about it.
