Lightweight, no phantom clicks – I’ve used Logitech mice and trackballs for years, and the one thing that has always annoyed me are the phantom clicks. That’s what I call it when you click the mouse button, you HEAR the click, but the computer doesn’t respond. Since every mouse I’ve ever used does this to one extent or another (not just Logitech), I pretty much have spent the last several decades grumbling about it but not really DOING anything about it. Mice that might not do this were soooo expensive, and “might not” isn’t much of an incentive. On the few occasions where I DID shell out a lotta money for a supposedly better mouse, I was sadly disappointed.

– Very good wirelesss mouse, battery life lasts for a long time, however i got mines without the charging dock and i use the cable to charge it and when i do sometimes it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting randomly for like 30 seconds, it also dosent charge when i plug my cable in. Overall it is good for price, the response time is also very fast, but i think the side side buttons are very unnecessary unless you are like left handed and it takes a while to get used to it as i usually rest my finger there and accidentally press them

– Mouse is light and feels good in hand as many reviews point out. However at this price point the quality control is very disappointing. As shown in the video my LMB works fine but the RMB is very mushy as if it had a looser spring.

Lighter and nicer to use than expected – I’ve been using Razer products for a number of years, in particular mice. This is hands down the best Razer mouse I’ve used so far and possibly the best mouse I’ve used as well. I haven’t been on the bandwagon for lighter and lighter weight mice. Now I might have to jump on that train because the Viper Ultimate is so shockingly light I have a hard time believing that it still works. Previously I had the Razer Taipan and perceptually it’s about 2.5 times heavier. The transition over has taken a bit of time to get used to but I do like it. It does feel like you can rapidly change the direction the mouse is moving without much effort and it could lead to better performance playing shooters in particular.
