Love this keyboard layout – I finally settled on this layout. I haven’t seen another company offer this yet. 71 keys. I wasn’t sure if I could live without the FN row but don’t need it for my use. Love the colorway that it comes in.

Great RGB Mechanical Keyboard – Went into the rabbit hole that is mechanical keyboards while trying to find a new keyboard for my home office setup. I’m not a gamer but use my keyboard a lot so I wanted a quality set up. Finally landed on this one after a lot of research. I was able to get it with a 30% off coupon with the thinking that I could use the money I saved on some new switches or key caps if I wanted. But honestly, these cherry red replicas are amazing that I don’t even think I want to switch them out. May still change out key caps as these don’t shine through but that’s simply preference. I just enjoy the fact that it’s hot swappable for 3 or 5 pin switches in the future if I want. Keyboard is the perfect size and I love all the RGB modes and connectivity options. Highly recommend!

Only one thing I would change is having the actual letters or digits transparent on the key caps so the rgb shines through them but with my monitor and the rgb on the board seeing what keys I am pressing is not an issue what so ever. everything hot swappable and you get a key cap tool, 3 extra switches and a usb cable. Note: The only thing that maybe I’d complain about is that the piece where the magnetic rubber stopper attaches to the back to raise the keyboard broke (the lip part) but one dab of super glue and its fine complete functional again how it was intended to be removed as I please.

Key rattle on space bar – I was excited to buy a keyboard for my friend, but the keyboard space bar has a very annoying rattle. I would describe the sound as clunky. I have looked up how to fix this before I give it to him, but I need to figure out where to begin. I want them to be satisfied with the present. But always I had to modify something to make them close to perfect like changing key caps, lubing switches, or put some materials like cushions under the plate immediately after buying their keyboards. But this RK71 is the first one I didn’t have to modify anything to feel close to perfect. My rating is 4.5 because there’s still room to improve quality of stabilizers.
