One of the greatest mouses. – I have owned countless high-end PC mice – corsair, logitech, razer, and this one is better than most of them. I hesitate saying this is the best mouse ever because it depends on what you’re going to use it for. It only has two spare buttons on the side, so you wouldn’t really want to use this for key-binding, and there is no DPI down clutch button like some people prefer for FPS games. That being said, this thing is fantastic at standard gaming and PC use. It’s incredibly light-weight, responsive, accurate, feels great in the hand, and has killer battery life. It’s the perfect daily driver.

– I love this mouse don’t get me wrong but the scroll wheel issue is ridiculous for the price they are asking. There needs to be better quality control. Overall, the coating is great, shape is great. Mouse clicks are better than Gen2, feels super tactile though very hollow.

Original gave up on razor, but gave them a (fifth?) chance, and I wasn’t disappointed this time. – My history with Razer goes WAY BACK. I had either the viper or diamondback, not sure which my memory is fuzzy. Whichever it was, brilliant mouse, until it broke. I had the copperhead after that, again until it broke. I had the OG death adder…. until it broke. Then I gave up on razer the first time. They came back with the “new age death adder” a few times, I forget which but it was definitely more recent than the rest of the mice, but it didn’t feel right and I was having issues with it. I swore off razer products AGAIN. Then a while longer went by. Eventually I ended up trying out a ton of other brands, even some third party and chinese mice. Went with a certain rocket brand (lmao changed name so it can stay in review) but the first of their mice died in a year, and every mouse after from that brand had scroll wheel issues which I HEAVILY use…. I even tried the cooler-Meister mice (switch the words, again so it can stay in the review) which I really enjoyed their “extra wide” mice with the ring finger rest…. but alas they just had issues.

Ultralight, but Uncomfortable – This mouse is extremely light and fun to use. However, compared to the Basilisk, it’s less comfortable for my wrist. Didn’t notice any gaming performance or long term use benefits when using the Viper V2 Pro vs Basilisk Ultimate.

Same feel as the v1 but lighter and less extras – Not a huge gamer but I’m sort of picky with my mouse feel and size. I tried a few different mice and my previous main mouse was the Glorious Model D, both wired and wireless. It’s been a great mouse but I found the wireless version battery doesn’t last more than a day and it’s been “wired” almost full time. Started to be frustrated with all of the cables on my desk and tried to find another wireless that fit my hand but also wasn’t super heavy, low latency and had good battery life.
