– These sound fine, not the best (and not as good as my Hyper X Cloud II), but absolutely fine for a non-audiophile like me. I’ve listened to hours of Spotify (and HOURS of Teams calls 🙁 ) and a fair bit of game time, and I have no complaints. The cable is braided fabric which makes an irritating noise when it rubs on my clothes, and the volume control is easy to turn accidentally if you turn your head and it catches on a collar or zip.

Poor warranty and needs an adapter to work! – My son bought these with a gift card and to use with his Xbox. There are two big problems, but they don’t tell you, but you need a $40 adapter to user these with an Xbox. So we bought it and he used them… until they broke. Normal use and the jack broke off. I have been round and round with the warranty folks, but they will not replace them or refund me. Don’t waste your money!!

– I also have a Turtlebay stealth headset and wanted to see whether the Razer was better. Short answer – no. The sound quality in the Turtlebay is way, way better. Much more clarity to hear footsteps, gunfire direction. The Razer is better than using the TV sound, but not much. It also doesn’t quite get the right balance between chat audio and ingame sound, and there is no control to change them separately like there is on the Turtlebay.
