Worth it when its on sale. – Definitely worth it if you can grab it on sale. I got this keyboard for around $55 and I’m glad I picked it up. The Cherry MX Brown switches feel excellent on this keyboard, even better than the Logitech I am used to. Genuinely surprised how well of a job HP did. Can’t really gripe about their software, as I found pretty much all keyboard software to be the same. But, if your looking for a full keyboard thats simple yet responsive, this keyboard is a good choice.

Not programmable with all OS system – I loved the look and feel. It was noisy but was very responsive. HOWEVER, the lights were too bright and the customization feature did not function on my PC. I down loaded the driver and software to support the customization but the system didn’t recognize either. Probably okay for WIN 10 users, not sure about WIN 11. Not good for anything lower. This should be stated in the description.

Not for me – This is a GAMER’S keyboard, which means that it is loud and clunky. Having never gamed in my LIFE, I didn’t realize that and replaced it after a week with something smooth and silent.

Great Keyboard – This keyboard makes a great addition to my Omen desktop. I love the ability to create and change templates through the Omen Command Center so I can focus attention on specific keys, and I can adjust the brightness to my liking as well. The keyboard is heavy! But that’s a good thing. It isn’t going to slide around while you play, it will stay put. I use this for a combination of work and gaming. The keys are a little louder than I would have liked for a work keyboard, so I’m glad I went with the Cherry MX Red keys instead of the blue.

Good keyboard… i thought – Everything is fine but the light on the K key on the keyboard went out after less than 3 days of having it and i hardly used it yet.

Perfect edition to my Omen 25L PC – The HP keyboard that came with my Omen 25L was pretty lame for gaming, so I purchased this keyboard. What a difference! Plugged it in to the PC, software installed itself (a beta lighting program) and it was ready to go. Nice match for the Omen PC series. Keys are made for gaming. WASD keys have red key caps and white lighting by default while the other keys have black key caps and red lighting. Never been a fan of red for lighting, but this one actually looks really nice. I did turn the brightness of keys way down and they are about perfect. If you purchase the Omen series PC for gaming, this is the keyboard you want.

Mechanical keyboard, it works – I was looking for something that feels like the near legendary IBM terminal keyboard. I’ve been touch typing for over 60 years and the IBM is my gold standard. This is close enough to satisfy me. The LED lighting is an annoyance, likewise the different color of the WASD keys. This is a common “feature” of mechanical keyboards. I’d be perfectly happy with unlit uniform black or beige. I’m a bit heavy handed and still haven’t gotten used to the sensitivity of the keys. From time to time I get spurious characters on the screen when I put my hands on the keyboard. All in all I like it. I can type as fast as my coordination lets me and the keys click.
