Lights do not turn off – Nice headphones with a built in mic. Sometimes the part over the ear can get uncomfortable but that gives me a reason to take them off for a minute. The lights that come on the headphones do not turn off unless you unplug the headset from the pc. It boggles me that they did not include a switch where you can turn the lights off or a time out feature. All night long my headphones are lit in my office, even when I am not using my pc. That is somewhat annoying.

nice sound, well made – when I bought these, I didn’t expect them to be perfect or last long. I thought I would buy a temporary headset while I wait for an expensive one to go on sale. I was honestly wrong about the quality of this product. The sound quality and noise cancelation is really good. I have spent 60 dollars on a headset before, hoping to have this type of sound quality. the cancelation is good enough so that I catch myself talking in an outside voice if I am chatting on pc. usually after a year of using head phones I would notice some kind of loss in performance, (especially since I got it for about 20 dollars at the time) but these are just as good as when I bought them.

The cord is not the typical silicone coated wire but rather a braided, tangle free cable – It’s a bit stiff, but loosens up after some use. The 7.1 surround sound is really nice and the boom mic provides clear audio. I really like the “mute” when you rotate the mic up – very convenient when you have to cough or speak off-mic.

I needed a good quality usb headset after my Logitech Premium USB Headset 350 had the ear muff vinyl deteriorated (could not find the right replacements). Ordered the EKSA E1000 USB Gaming Headset for PC because it stated it was “plug and play”. Other’s have software that must be downloaded to get them running. They were “plug and play”. They work great and sound great! About 3 months later, my new work computer would not work with my 3.5mm gaming headset I have at home. So, I ordered another EKSA E1000 USB Gaming Headset for home as well. Now, I have one at work and at home. Again, they work great on both computers and with both set-up’s I have (home and work). These are somewhat inexpensive when you look at what you get for a “business” headset. The EKSA E1000 USB Gaming Headset is over the ear, which cut’s out noise, and makes hearing great. Would recommend these to anyone wanting a good quality headset for work or home – even if you are NOT a gamer.
