Better than expected – I thought these headphones wouldn’t work as good as they did. Even upon unpacking them, they felt a little bit on the flimsy side…like they’d break within a week. Honestly, I’m pretty rough on equipment and so far, they’ve lasted without anything snapping and breaking. 1st off, let me start by saying that the reason I purchased these wasn’t for gaming. I use these for video conferencing via Zoom, Teams, and other things. I utilize them for training webinars and attended Microsoft Ignite utilizing them. I’ve created my own training videos and I also listen to music with them. I do play a few games using them, but that is not there sole function. I would probably look elsewhere for a pro-gaming headset if that’s your focus. When in a game you really want the surround sound effects and sensitivity that could make the difference in a tournament. There’s 3 things that I really like about this headset. For one, it has a little light on the mic that tells you if it’s active or not. This may not seem like a big deal, but it’s huge when your not sure if the other people can’t hear you because your mic’s not working, your on mute in the program/computer, or the presenter has you muted. It’s just a nice little touch that I’ve found useful. The second thing I like about it is the volume control on wire that’s easily accessible. Not an original feature I know, but it’s in a convenient spot on the cable and it’s not some tiny little knob your have work on to turn up or down. I find it easy to turn up or down the volume and find myself using that instead of the volume controls on the computer. The third thing I like about this headset is that there a little button on there for mute. Hold it! It’s not a button, it’s a switch. That’s what I like about it. You don’t hit a button to mute or unmute. My last headset had a button for mute and half the time I didn’t know if I was muting myself when hitting it or unmuting myself. With a switch, it’s simply up for on, or down for off–a no brainer. They seem to work pretty well in other areas and the wiring seems to be holding up so far. The noise cancelation isn’t the greatest, but it does a fairly decent job. The the price, I would say this is a pretty decent purchase. If I had more options for colors, that would have been nice-but I’m happy with what I’ve got.
