You don’t get what you pay for – I really wanted to like this keyboard but unfortunately it does not preform well. I own asus tuf gaming monitor that exceeded my expectations. This is the first and last asus peripheral I intend to purchase. The reason being the software required is bloated out. Unless you already own a asus laptop or desktop I would not recommend their peripherals because the software is bundled into other services you don’t need. For example Logitech ghub is a software that is solely focused on the peripherals and nothing more. Asus armory crate software is designed for asus laptops/desktops because it allows you to control various aspects of your asus machine. If a standalone version of their software was offered that focused on the peripherals alone they might be able to offer better support by debugging it. Another major issue with the tk3 is that it is advertised as “mechanical” when in fact it more of a hybrid membrane. The keys are mushy like other have stated. I purchased this keyboard with the intent of upgrading from a Corsair membrane keyboard. Unfortunately it felt like a downgrade because the mushy keys also have a sticky feeling to them. The magnetic arm rest is a joke it’s plastic and offer no support just like the keyboard. It offers only one usb pass through but in order for it to work you have to plug in two usb cables one for the keyboard and another to power any device connected to the keyboard. I mean what’s the point of that? My Mac keyboard from 2010 has two usb connections on it that allow me to connect ssd hard drives to it with no issue and it only requires a single cable keyboard usb connection. Don’t fall for branding like I did if you already own an asus machine the experience might be better for you but if you don’t look else ware. They are much cheaper no name brands that probably function better than this name brand junk. Even though it might look cool you don’t get what you pay for.

Less than 2 years old… – I take excellent care of my computer gaming products. That said, I bought this keyboard on 1/13/2021 here it is 09/02/2022 and the blue LED on the E key has failed. The other thing is I went to check the warranty dates and ASUS only gave me 8 months, not the one year advertised. Your mileage may vary regarding build quality, but I’m disappointed.

the quality of the keyboard is great for 80 bucks plus if u have armory crate it syncs – Like I said I just love that it syncs up with all my RGB sooo ITS a no brainer for me, plus its a solid keyboard, and when u have it synced up to AURA SYNC u can pretty much create anything that u can think up with AURA Creator so if u have armory crate then I do recommend trying this bad boi out, PLUS all the other keyboards from ASUS are WAYYY TO MUCH MONEY so yeah 80 beans is cheap compared to most of the ROG stuff that is Mechanical anyway.
