Great for Switch – Careful When Ordering – I was slightly skeptical as I saw some reviews mentioning that this could only be used wired with the Switch and others mentioning a dongle for it. I think that confusion may have arisen from ordering as there are actually two different “styles” you can order. One is “Switch” and the other “Arctis 3 Bluetooth.” While I can’t say for sure I surmise that the latter doesn’t come with the Switch dongle. So be careful if ordering for the Switch.

Awesome headset! Works great with Switch and PC! – I got this headset after hearing that it’s one of the few sets that are currently compatible with the Nintendo Switch. I’ve had it for a few months now and I can say that it works great! It’s super comfortable, easy to set up, and sounds great. I havent used the microphone, so I can’t comment on the quality of that. It is nice that the microphone can be removed though.

Works pretty well. Noise filter may be a bit much. But analog doesn’t have any filtering at all. – Overall I’m extremely satisfied with this headset. Battery life is great, sound quality is pretty decent (not as good as audiophile headphones, but not bad and definitely good enough for gaming,) and the USB dongle is extremely easy to work with for the most part (though I needed an adapter since it’s USB type-C and my board didn’t have any type-C ports. They’re cheap and usually come in multi-packs, so there are spares for other things anyway.) I did feel like the noise filter on it maybe tended more towards the extreme side, blocking out even more than was truly necessary (I couldn’t even let people hear things on purpose like putting it right next to a keyboard to play key sounds for example. Even when that loud it would filter them out.) Conversely, if I hooked it up via cable to analog (which requires a TRRS connector, not just TRS) it bypassed the filtering entirely (which is silly since it still has to convert analog to digital and transmit that) and let a lot of noise through that I didn’t want and I actually did hear some complaints. Of course, neither is a replacement for a real microphone if you go so far as to do streaming or anything, but it’s probably about your best option for simple gaming — especially on embedded devices (like the Switch) where you can’t really add in any software filtering stages.

headphones and microphone works great – I have purchased 2 pair of these headphones. I can wear them for hours and the microphone works very well for online calls. I use these headphones for online calls and streaming movies. They hold a charge for 7+ days with daily use.

My first wireless headset – So far so good, though it loses a star for it being to large on my head even on the lowest earphone adjustment, causing it to sag on my ears and give me headaches if warn over 3 hours a time. For the price though, it performs great.

Excellent headset – The Arctis 1 headset arrived yesterday in the middle of the Covid-19 self-isolation. My 9 year old’s wired headset was literally falling apart and I needed a replacement quick! I ordered this pair from Amazon and it arrived just a few days later. Once unboxed I set it up for him but it had an issue. My son plays Fortnite on the Nintendo Switch exclusively. He likes to have it docked so he can play on the 55″ living room TV. Well he could hear the game sounds and music but could not chat or hear anyone else chat! It didn’t work wired (aux cable provided) or wireless (dongle provided). This was not good. I was at a loss. I went on the Steel Series website and entered into a chat. The first thing they asked me to do is to shut down and restart the Switch. Guess what? It worked! I feel dumb I didn’t think of it myself!

Headphones with great noise cancellation – I really love this product. Highly recommend for anyone who plays PC and Nintendo Switch. Works well with PS4 as well. If the same company releases a new pair of headphones but that is compatible with PS5 and Xbox X, I will definitely not regret buying them. Comfortable ear muphs could be playing video games for hours on end. Great battery as well, rarely having to charge them. Overall real good quality wireless headphones for 100 dollars. Definite recommend to anyone who is willing to upgrade from their old headphones, especially if you play on Nintendo
