Replaced my G600, very good, some minor improvements needed for a 5 star – My G600 didn’t go through a cycle of being great and then going to crap as most of Logitech’s products do nowadays (used to be a time when Logitech was simply the best), mostly due to their software and short life. I went into detail as to how it went screwy on me in my review of the G600 if you’re interested, this review is about the M908, broken down in sections of interest.

Left click super hard until broken in — otherwise excellent – I’ve been using the wired Redragon Perdition for, like, six years. I have two of them, but even the original is still going strong, if a bit stiff.

So Far, So Good… – I got this because my Logitech Wireless G604 was giving me some trouble after 12 months of light use and Logitech aged product 602’s price is ridiculous. I was tired of having to deal with the negatives of wireless, but I wanted side buttons beyond 2-3 buttons which 90% of mouse(s) sold on Amazon seem to have.

– I was looking forward to receiving this mouse to enable me to play Swtor, unfortunately the program that is used to assign button configurations does not allow to set single keystokes meaning I could not set the firekey as the shift key freeing up 12 extra buttons along the side with mouse only 1-12 and shift 1-12. If you don’t need to make any modifications to the generic mouse then this should be fine, but the lack of single key binding support within the software is shocking.

– This is pretty much what I expected. It’s a mouse with a macro pad. It’s quite large which makes it quite comfortable in my hand. Turbo click can come in handy as I can only manage about 9 presses/second normally, but it only clicks a few times and doesn’t go continuously, so for that you must use the configuration tool on their website.
