Good mouse, could use some improvements – I got this mouse to play an MMO that requires a few macros. Each button on the side can be set to an individual key or a macro can be programmed. The DPI is easy to set on the fly.

Side Buttons Don’t Work as Intended – The side buttons don’t come in as M7, M8, M9, etc instead it uses the keyboard’s numbers. I installed their software to change their functions to be CRTL+SHIFT+1, 2, 3 and changed the keybinds of my game to be the same. It still uses 1 and sometimes CRTL+SHIFT+1.

Good mouse, but uncomfortable to me – Came from an evga x15. The x15 was very comfortable to me but had scroll wheel issues. This mouse I just cannot get myself comfortable. Claw grip or palm grip, it’s hard for me to reach the buttons without changing grips. I’m using the mouse because I lie the extra buttons for my video editing, but wish it was a slimmer design.

Not for Small Hands – I was looking for a mouse with lots of thumb buttons for quickswitching in Doom, and this one works just as well as bigger brands like Logitech, Razer, and Corsair. The problem is that the mouse is so tall that I could never rest my arm while holding it. Within seconds of holding it I could tell it would eventually cause wrist strain, (I wear a size 7 glove.) I like that it is slightly angled, sort of between a typical mouse and an upright mouse. I did not like how sharply angled the thumb buttons were. I suppose the designer thought that would make the buttons easier to distinguish by feel, but it actually makes them really uncomfortable to use. The thumb buttons have the same mushy feel as the Logitech G600 and the Corsair Scimitar, which I don’t like, but I got used to it. Ultimately I returned this product, because of the wrist strain and kept the Logitech G600 which is only a few dollars more, has 12 side buttons, and much more functionality with its app. This mouse is for people with larger hands who are looking for as close to an upright mouse as possible with some thumb buttons that won’t be used extremely often, such as for gaming.

Better than the M908 for my palm grip – I moved to this M811 mouse model from the M908 Impact and I really prefer it. I use a palm grip and the taller M811 supports my palm better. The pinky support groove works as well on this mouse as it did on the M908. I also find the side button configuration to be much more usable than the twelve tiny buttons on the M908. The only feature that the M908 has over this mouse is the ability to adjust the weight, which isn’t important to me.
