Great for productivity; not so much for gaming – I realize I’m a palm user and have been so used to the Logitech G602 for so long that I may b ea bit biased. Nonetheless, The HP Omen Vector is a great mouse for productivity use. It’s more designed for people have claw hands. Unfortunately, the more games I’ve played on this, the more my hand hurt. It lacks any grip on the palm. The side grips are slippery. As I’m testing the G602, my palm never slips. But I may as well be an amateur on an ice rink on the Omen Vector.

Nice mouse – I have been using this mouse for a few months now. The build quality of the mouse seems sturdy. The tracking is good and the lighting works as it should. However, the software seems like it could have more features. I haven’t had any problems with it yet. If I run into problems I’ll update this review

Seems to lose connection and/or drift – I really wanted to love this mouse. I upgraded from the wired version because the scroll wheel had started to give out. I like the shape, it’s a very comfortable mouse, I like the adjustable DPI, and the additional color options are nice… but it will periodically start to creep across the screen slowly instead of moving quickly, or it lose connection all together. So far the only way I’ve found to fix it is to turn the mouse off and then back on again. I’m not sure what’s wrong.

Connection issues – It’s a nice mouse especially when running wired. When running wireless it has a great battery life but occasionally encounters connection issues where mouse inputs will be slowed down and delayed. For a gaming wireless mouse I’d probably pick something else.
