It’s a great first keyboard but not enthusiastic grade – Like others have said, the stabilizer are very bad and unlubed, that’s my biggest complaint. The switches aren’t great either, unlubed red linear switches.

Good layout, good switches, so many problems. – I want to love this keyboard, but it’s got so many issues. I got the MiniTKL size and I mostly like the layout (more on that later). The Gateron red switches are good too, though they benefit from some lube. It’s also great that they used 5 pin hot swap sockets, since that allows for the best variety of replacement switches. The RGB lighting is bright and colorful and the colors are true to expectations. I also really like the adjustable feet. The keycap puller and switch puller are both nice quality and a great color.

So close but yet so far away. – NZXT was so close to greatness with this keyboard but a few factors just make it hard to justify over other keyboards in it’s price point. Let me start off by saying you can get a GMMK 2 within the same price point which has a full aluminum chassis, better stabilizers, hot swappable switches, PDT keycaps, and pre-lubed Glorious Fox switches. The GMMK 2 is just simply a far superior board at nearly the exact same price points across the three models to choose from.

Not bad, just wish it had a wireless adapter or Bluetooth – I like the vertical scroll wheel for volume control, it’s my preference over the knob kind that most keyboards use. Another thing I enjoy is the texture of the key caps, it’s hard to explain it but they are soft and have matte feel to them. The typing experience is good and the switches are very responsive when gaming. This integrates with the NZXT Cam application, and so, this keyboard makes the most sense for people who are already using other NZXT components like a motherboard (or an entire pre-build from NZXT).
