My son seems happy – I didn’t notice it on the ad, but when these arrived, I realized they were Beexcellent headphones, which is a brand I already have in the house. I haven’t listened to my son’s set but my own are probably very similar in quality so I can confidently say that the sound is ok, not awesome for listening to music (base and volume wise) but just fine for gaming and talking which was the purpose of both sets. They are also ok on the noise cancellation front, as I can stand right next to my son and try to talk to him and he doesn’t hear a word I say sometimes (although that’s also a kid trait).
