These are good headphones, but not for everyone. – I ultimately had to return these, and I think it mostly has to do with the size of my head. I’ve literally been using Sennheiser HD 515s for almost 16 years now for computer use/gaming. I’ve never found anything in a similar price range as my HD515’s that even come close to the clarity, loudness, and outright quality of sound that they produce. However, I’m newly a dad, and I am in the market for closed back headphones, which I know will always have a different sound signature than I’m used to.

Logitech G PRO Gaming Headset – I had this headset for almost a year of hardcore use for games and movies and they feel great and still sound great they get really loud so i will be careful but with the Logitech Software you can customize sound values over all great headset for games with high quality sounds and a decent mic.

Best around 100 dollar headset – Great sound for the price. I have recently tried around 12 headsets to meet my needs. These were the best by a good margin. I tried headsets from stands like Senheiser (the gsp600 which is their highest end non wireless headset. It sounded great but not amazing mix) audio technica, razer, turtle beach, and Philip. These destroyed the turtle beaches (which were the stealth 700 gen 2s which are their highest end headphones)and were reasonably comparable to the razer black shark v2. They still were far better tho in sound comfort build and mic. I also had the kaira pro which supposedly had the same driver from the blackshark but to me sounded far worse. The gsp 600 sounded better for sure but had a much worse mic and are much harder to drive. The audio technica headset was utter garbage. It was the ATH PG1 and wasn’t expansive but even at the 70 dollars was terrible. The mic was awful, and the sound was horrendous. Worse than EarPods included with your iPhone. The Logitech’s were pretty comparable to Philip’s shp 9500. While not quite as good sounding, they were much higher build quality, had a mic included and are a gaming headset. The shp 9500s are directed as budget audiophile headphones but were only slightly better sounding. For gaming these are also fantastic. They have very good positional sound and can easily tell you where enemies are. The mic is very good and the comfort is definitely there. The ear pads are not quite as deep as I’d like but overall can be worn for hours once broken in a bit. Overall these are great. If you need a set of headphones for music and gaming around 100 dollars these are the best mainstream option.
