Practically a steal – I’ve owned this keyboard for about a year and honestly I have no complaints. Everything works right out of the box, no software that you have to install which is awesome, and the instruction manual that comes with the keyboard goes over all the features that come with it. For the price, you can’t really beat it, it’s everything you need and then some.

Mixed feelings about this keyboard and Hyper X in general – I’ve owned three of these keyboards and bought two of them so far. Two belonged to me and the other I got for my significant other. I bought the first two in 2019 and hers is still chugging along and she games using a keyboard. I do not game with a keyboard. I just like having illuminated keys while I do audio and graphic work because I like working in low light. My first keyboard’s space bar quit working and Hyper X was great about giving no fuss and sending me out another keyboard after a year of use. No biggie, I thought it was just a fluke. I’ve had my replacement for two years and a year into owning this one and it started developing electronic noise on certain colors and color combinations which is a no no when trying to do critical listening and cleaning up audio. I’ve just dealt with it because it happened after the year warranty but there’s nothing functionally wrong with the keyboard per se. I’m going to be buying another keyboard soon and I might buy a higher end Hyper X to see if it’s more of the same but if I have more problems with their items the next time I will not be purchasing anything else from them so see my experience as you will when deciding to buy from this company or this keyboard.

FINALLY! Exactly what I wanted! – My job requires me to type, ALOT, with precision and speed. I wanted a color illuminated keyboard that would work for my demanding needs after my company issued keyboard started to wear out. I’ve tried 4 different foreign brands for half the price in the last 5 months. First one wouldn’t even turn on, and felt flimsy. Second one… the keys were sticking after 2 weeks. The third one… the black wore off the keys after less than a month, so I had glowing knobs. This keyboard is hands down the best one of all 4! It has substantial weight, the color is perfect, the controls are understandable and easy. It was 1000 percent worth the price!

Wonderful large keyboard with volume controls. – My last keyboard I bought was probably 5-7 years ago, loved that thing to death. I have found out that curving of keyboards for whatever reason is a thing and I dislike it. This keyboard does not have that issue. Bought 3 keyboards and this was easily the best feeling keyboard AND happened to be cheap.

Flashy – As a membrane keyboard, this one is not silent, but it is easy to press the keys and it’s not overly noisy. It’s a little bit too tall, but I fixed this with a wrist cushion. The brightness can be adjusted easily and the color options, while minimal, are pleasant. It’s heavy and stays in place on my desk, helping me avoid accidental keyboard shifting. It’s a bit to get used to after the flatness of a laptop keyboard, but I like how distinct each key is. The wrapped cord is also sturdy. I use it for both work and gaming, and it functions well in both circumstances.
