To mic or not to mic… – Headphones are not great at being noise canceling. It does a pretty good job though. I used them at work first to listen to pod casts while working endlessly on excel spreadsheets. I can still hear enough office jargon to run the office while listening to pod cast about criminal justice. They work pretty good to talk trash through my Xbox one. Fits pretty on my adult earlobes. There is a switch to turn off the Mic, so no one can hear you talk trash. The Headphones connect to my phone or Xbox. The audio is pretty good.

OK for price – The headphones that we got had an annoying buzzing sound that was noticable to other players. My grandson corrects the problem by slapping the headphones around when it happens. lol What would gaming be without some challenge?

Great Budget Buy – I bought these for my step son after my daughter broke his. At first be was really upset but once he turned these on and saw they lit up blue he was thrilled. The chord is much longer than his and he likes that the mouth piece is adjustable. He’s able to hear his friends while he plays Fortnite and he said there isn’t any distortion. As long as he takes care of them and away from the kids these should last a good long while making it great for the price!

Nothing special – Overall it’s decent for the price. Its comfortable sounds good and it fits but there are issues. Sometimes it feels like the mic is not close enough and I have to project my voice to it which is really awkward. The 3.5mm jack and USB cable both connect to the headset cable. If you’re playing on Xbox the usb just floats around because it has no purpose there. If you move the cable in the slightest way when it’s connected to the controller you’ll be rewarded with HORRIBLE loud static noise which is not good for a gaming accessory. The headset cable is the same cheap material you’ll find in a $5 iPhone charger from a gas station. Besides looking cool and lighting up (it only lights up if it’s in a USB port) it just barely exceeds the bare minimum for this price point. It’s not a bad buy but you could possibly find a better option for the same price.

See you’d think “maybe his friends are messing with him” or whatever but no, I’d even join up with random people and they’d say the same thing too “I can’t even hear myself think over that buzzing” I ended up going to Walmart and getting a nice pair of turtle beach headphones and gave them to my brother who only uses them to trash talk so it’s not like the buzzing is gonna be a major issue. 3/5 nice headset but the buzzing kinda ruins them
