Not what expected – The Quality of these looks fine but I’m wondering what is actually in the shielding, What wires are actually in there if this is actually a cat 8, Or something cheaper. Ever since I plugged these in I noticed my Internet speeds from my router have been way off… I Disconnected these cat 8 cables and put on cat 5E From my Motum to my router and another one to my xbox series X.. Ran the speed test again and my speed is where I’m supposed to be. It’s a shame I’m way past my return for these or I would return them

So far so good – So I’m actually replacing another cord that I bought from Amazon that was the flat braided kind & that one always gave me connection problems. It was fine if I was sitting perfectly still at a desk but I like to work from my bed as well on a lil bed table & if my dog’s accidentally hit the cord or something I’d lose connection & it was a big problem for work. So far I haven’t had any problems with this one. I’m hoping it continues this way. I can’t say I notice anything is faster but I wasn’t rly looking for that anyways. If ur looking at the flat braided ones I’d def recommend this one over those unless u plan sitting perfectly still at a desk & there’s no way the cord can get bumped. My first pic is of the old braided one.

Works – I have not compared this to any other cables or brands so I can’t say if it is faster or anything. All I can say is I setup a home network and it works much better than the WiFi did in my basement. I like the fact it has an anti-snag tab over the release tab, while not the most important, if you are pulling the cable through lots of exiting wires it is a nice feature for a cable to have…. or just use tape. Anyway, it works, was delivered quickly during the holidays, and I am happy.

working great. – seems to be good quality. data speed is higher than CAT5e cables installed in my house. Speed test shows 900Mbps~ all my internal wiring is still CAT5e and my internet is 1Gbps so no complaints from me. I have not tested anything on my wifi router I use these to hard wire my TV and game console.

Great Size, Excellent Quality – I bought this Cat8 for my Synology RT2600AC router. It comes beautifully packaged, and is sold in a variety of convenient sizes. I got a really short one, as my fibre optics internet modem is right next to my router. I kid you not, this will upgrade the speed on your service phenomenally as well as adding reliability. Definitely recommend picking one up, especially if you’re currently using a Cat5 that came with your router or anything along those lines.

I really like these cables! – I bought eight of these cables with no intention of ever pushing them to 10Gb let alone 40Gb. That being said, I took them to work where we have equipment that can use the 40Gb link at 2Ghz. We did get sustained throughout of at least 35Gb with some 40Gb throughout. I think this was a test limitation rather than cable. All eight cables performed the same. These cables were unaffected by EFI via an old lighting ballast. Cat 6 unshielded cables dropped to near unusable states.

Super fast – It was recommended to me to get this cat8 network cable to connect my Arris S33 modem to my TP Link XE75 wifi mesh router. Our internet connection speeds are super fast, so this network cable seems to be doing its job. My director is duplicating my home network setup at her home including this network cable and is also getting super fast internet connection speeds.

Very impressed with this cable. – I recently decided to convert my gaming systems from WiFi, to Ethernet. My house is not very open in design. The speeds were not too great on WiFi, and it seems the game downloads are getting bigger as the current gen systems are getting in stride. First thing I noticed, was the quality of the construction of the cables. I also bought 6 of the 3 ft. cables to go from the gaming systems to the switch. The outer shell is very robust in feel. The end connecters are very tight, and securely fit my systems and Linksys switch. I did multiple online searches for best Ethernet cable, and this brand was always in the top. I went from getting WiFi downloads at 125 – 175 Mbs to 650 – 950 Mbs, so I’m glad I made the switch to Ethernet. I’m running a Xfinity XB7 gateway, and a Linksys 8 port Gigabit switch. I highly recommend this brand of cable, can’t go wrong!
